Hi there, my name is Marc and I'm pretty much a rookie in being a Keeper for the critical acclaimed Pen&Paper RPG Call of Cthulhu (6. Ed.).
I'm not making any claims to greatness, or at least not yet, but as I find myself with lots and lots of ideas on hand and as I get around to writing them down, either on paper or digitally, I thought to myself I might as well make them digitally available for others to play with.
(Please don't expect too much of a regular upload schedule - I might try to put one together, but these things often dissolve rather quickly.)
First thing to say would be something on the lines of "Players are also welcome, but most materials here should be for Keeper eyes only" I take it.
Now bear in mind that probably many of these ideas have been around in one was or another, especially considering for how long this particular RPG has been around.
But I shall vow to try to make all of them as original as possible. That would be the least I could do.
Don't hesitat to comment or contact me if you find things astray, wrong or straight up copied.
I will not be using much aside the background materials and the Lovecraft-ian texts this whole universe is based on to create whatever it is I just came up with, but sometimes, and I guess you know how it is, you find yourself influenced by other materials without really knowing it and so on.
Besides... I'm still a scrub.
I should also mention that this blog will mainly focus on the 1920's. But with only a bit of effort all content should be usable within other time periods.
Just one more thing before I finish up this little introduction: Considering the materials that I have, I shall continue to work mainly with and for 6th edition. And I do not think I will necessarily switch to 7th once that has come out on paper. However as far as I can tell based on the Quickstart ruleset that has been released by Chaosium for free on their site, with only a little of conversion-work all things 6th will be usable in 7th. Sounds nice, doesn't it?
Besides that I will (sooner or later, probably later though) try to get my hands on the new materials as well and start converting the stuff for you.
Thanks for stopping by and have a good time,
Marc
